Pete the Plumber rides the Water Cycle

Pete is a plumber who loves making music as much as he loves water. With his pet drop of water, Droppo, Pete tells the story of the water cycle with songs, silliness, and an array of instruments made from all types of pipes, hoses, pumps and gloves.

Educating and Entertaining.

Team has performed Pete the Plumber at the Museum of Victoria, Scienceworks, Apollo Bay Festival, Bendigo Easter Fair, and toured schools with the Victorian Arts Council. Pete has adapted his show to entertain and delight pre-schools, primary and secondary schools, libraries and festival audiences.

Pete the Plumber rides the Water Cycle’ entertained children from 2 years upwards and adults alike at the Melton Library during the school holidays. It was professionally done in an interesting, funny yet educational way. It’s amazing what one can do with plastic pipes and rubber gloves. Some of the sounds emanating from these contraptions brought many laughs. One mother of three children said the show was ‘exquisite’. Sue Robertson Melton Library.

Hi Team, Thanks so much for your wonderful Pete the Plumber performance and workshop at Redesdale. Both the staff and the kids loved what you did - we have received some wonderful feedback. I was so transfixed during your performance I forgot I was at work! Julie Gittus Goldfields Library Corporation.

Pete the Plumber had Mudgee Preschool children and staff enthralled with his show about his pet drop of water, Droppo. He used an interesting array of instruments made from plumbing materials to accompany his songs. The children learned about evaporation, condensation and rain whilst being entertained with music and circus skills. Staff commented that Pete's show was "one of the best we've had for years!" and "he knows how to engage the children" and the children said "it was SO good - Pete was really funny!".
